Bulgarian Squash Federation
Bulgarian juniors played well at HEAD Danish Junior Open 2026, held in Denmark from 24 to 27 September. Ten of our young players took part, gaining more international experience against opponents from different countries.
Emma Peteva came closest to the podium, finishing fourth in the girls' under-19 event. Ema Bozhilova placed fifth in girls' under-17, while Bozhana Bozhilova finished sixth in girls' under-15.
In the boys' events, Bulgaria was represented by Aleksandar Petrov and Kaloyan Angelov in under-13, Boris Braykov in under-15, and Spas Ibrishimov, Teodor Staykov, Alexander Staykov and Bozhidar Harizanov in under-17.
There were no Bulgarian podium finishes this time, but the players still deserve recognition. Their good play and the experience gained from these matches are an important part of their development and preparation for future tournaments.
